We’ve almost made it through winter… yeah!!! But for all those like me who still have dry cracked hands from washing them too much I’ve got a few solutions/tips.

1. I came across this first one by accident. After breastfeeding I had a full tube of Lansinoh (nipple) cream left so I thought I’d try it on the cuts/splits on my hands as nothing else worked. Turns out it worked amazing! Healed almost over night. And really why wouldn’t it (that’s what it’s for…dry cracked skin that’s exposed to a lot of moisture).

2. The next one is the badger healing balm. LOVE it and again works really well!!! And totally natural.

3. Keep a bottle of hand cream/lotion beside every sink in the house so you are more likely to put it on after washing your hands. The key is to stay on top of the dryness and not let it get out of hand…like I often do :)

4. Lastly, dry your hands completely after washing. You would think that it’s ok to leave them a little wet (extra moisture) but it actually drys them out faster.

I honestly feel your pain so hope this helps!

Live well,

Jasmine
