I’m hoping parents will share some of their funny kid stories in here. These can be pure entertainment or for lessons learned to share with other parents. So I’ll start with one:
I have to preface this story with the fact that I’m obviously very health conscious but also very conscious about good hygiene and avoiding germs. So I’m driving home with my daughter in traffic at dinner time and decide to get off the highway at the mall for something to eat. This is in Mississauga a very busy mall just outside of Toronto.
We order our food and sit down at the table. Normally I have my tinydiner place mat with me but had taken it out to wash and forgot it at home. So we’re having a good time eating and hanging out. I turn to look at the ad on the TV for a second and turn back to see my daughter licking the food court table to get something she had stuck on her tongue off!!!!
I was mortified!!!! She had NEVER done anything like that before and of course she chose a germ infested food court table for her first (and only) time! The pore thing was only 2 and didn’t realize what she had done but man was I freaked out! My family was laughing hysterically when I told them because they new it was traumatic for me and so out of character for my daughter ( I always have my place mat).
I can look back now and laugh but it took a few weeks 
I’ll never leave home without my tinydiner again!
